Who should complete and sign the Claim Form?

The on-line Claim Form must be completed by the beneficial owner of BP Ordinary Shares (or their authorized representative) with respect to which the Claim Form is being filed. If there is more than one beneficial owner of the BP Ordinary Shares, all beneficial owners must be identified and all owners (or an authorized legal representative of such owners) must sign the Claim Form.

What will you need to proceed?

• The beneficial owner’s name(s), mailing address and telephone number.
• A complete list of purchases and sales of BP Ordinary Shares from April 26, 2010 through May 26, 2010, as well as the number of shares held on April 25, 2010 and on May 27, 2010.
• Supporting documentation for each transaction. All documentation must be legible and include your name, account number, date of transaction, quantity, total transaction amount and security name or ISIN. You may choose to:
  • Attach scanned image files (up to 10 separate files), or
  • Complete your online submission without attaching documentation and mail (via post or courier) or email us copies of your documentation. Please reference your claim number when doing so.
• If the Claim Form is being submitted by the beneficial owner’s authorized representative, you must provide proof of your authority to act on their behalf.

The online Claim Form is meant to be completed within a single 60-minute session. It is advised that all necessary information and scanned documentation be readily accessible before you begin your claim.

The deadline to submit a claim to the BP Fair Fund expired on April 30, 2024 at 11:59pm EST. Acceptance of claims submitted after that time is not guaranteed and will be determined by the SEC on a case by case basis.
